Dot Peening

Used to mark part numbers etc. often on to machined aerospace components.

The process uses a computer driven dot matrix print head which can be adjusted for impact force and therefore can mark a wide range of materials allowing for varying thicknesses and surface hardness.
The print head can be programmed to mark on curved as well as straight edges and can mark a variety of symbols.
